Why Puerto Rico?

Whether you like to kick back in the beach, take a hike through nature or dance all night long, this enchanted Island is the place to be.

Top places to Visit!

  1. El Yunque National Forest
  2. El Yunque is one of Puerto Rico's most visited attractions. There are over 240 species of plants and trees in El Yunque. With 16 different hiking areas and a variety of waterfalls there is much to explore. One of the Rainforest waterfalls accessed easily from the road is the Coca Falls. This waterfall is great for those flawless pictures and a wonderful place to go for a swim.

  3. Castillo de San Cristóbal
  4. Castillo de San Cristóbal was originally built to protect the city of Old San Juan from land attacks. It is the largest fort built by the Spaniards in the New World. Although less visited than El Morro, this fort has amazing shoreline views. This is a must do on your trip to Old San Juan!

  5. Old San Juan
  6. Speaking of Old San Juan.... No trip to Puerto Rico is complete without spending some time in this historical settlement of Puerto Rico. Here you can hang with the locals to experience their food, culture, music and traditions. Take some time to get lost in the immense beauty of the colorful architecture of Old San Juan. Make sure to take a sunset stroll along Paseo la Princesa which leads you to the mesmerizing Raíces Fountain, considered to be one of the most romantic spots in Old San Juan.

  7. Bioluminescent Bay
  8. There are three bioluminescent bays in Puerto Rico — Mosquito Bay in Vieques, Laguna Grande in the north-east in Fajardo, and La Parguera in the south-west in Lajas. Kayak your way to the bay to watch the water glow when Microorganisms light up the lagooon. The best time to go is during the New Moon, when the night is the darkest and you can see the full effect of the glow.

  10. Casa Bacardi is one of the top attractions near San Juan. They have a number of tours to choose from. One of my favorites is the Mixology Tour. You get a brief history overview and you learn how to make three different cocktails. Talk about making your cocktail and drinking it too!
